Secondary Intensive Reading Programs Student Workbook A, Unit 1 For the purposes of using the sample unit of work, the student is expected after 4 lessons (or 1 week) to be able to read correctly 60 or more words from the list, with no more than 2 errors, in one minute. If the 4 columns are completed, the student returns to the beginning and continues reading until 60 seconds have elapsed. The student would also be expected to know the meaning of all 60 words, be able to complete the close exercises containing the words and read fluently, sentences containing the list words. Secondary Support Material Sample Chapter of Work from Activity Book It also reinforces the concepts and language taught in Student Workbook A or B of the Secondary Intensive Reading Programs. Support material may be used in the regular classroom, the special reading class, or at home. |
